      Mount Union, Jan. 19. --Mrs. Minnie May Carbaugh Kelly, wife of John I. Kelly, died at her home, 104 W. Walnut street, Mount Union, January 17 at 4 p. m. Mrs. Kelly had been in failing health for almost a year and news of her death brought to many friends and neighbors keen regret and deep sorrow, for she was an exemplary Christian woman. She was a devoted wife and mother and her husband and six children are disconsolate at her passing. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was devout an constant in her Christian live.
      Born September 21, 1889 at Mt. Alto, Pa., Mrs. Kelly was the daughter of John K. and Catharine N. Carbaugh. She was united in marriage with John I. Kelly on September 15, 1910 at Chambersburg, Pa.
      Surviving are the husband and the following children: Clifton I. Kelly, Mary Jane Kelly, Clair E. Kelly, Stella M. Kelly, Olive V. Kelly and Calvin Kelly, all at home. The following brother and sisters also survive: Calvin Carbaugh, Jacob Carbaugh, Mrs. Edward Staley, all of Mt. Alto; Mrs. Clarence Stoop, Waynesboro; Mrs. Frank Halmatag, Philadelphia. One half brother, Charles Carbaugh and one half sister, Mrs. Emma Zell of Waynesboro also survive.
      Funeral services will be held from the late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. R. Skyles Oyler, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate and W. Q. Blatt will direct the interment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery in Mount Union.
